Saeed Namakydoost and Hamid Namaky sold a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 360 N. Main St. in Chagrin Falls to Michael J. Stauffer for $367,800 on July 24.
Namaky and Namakydoost paid $231,000 for the property in June 2008. The 2,910-square-foot house was built in 1964 in the Chagrin Falls North neighborhood.
Namakydoost is the manager and chief engineer at Honda R&D Americas Inc., a technical research and development division for Honda products.
Namakydoost attended Wright State University.
Namaky is an engineering management and product development consultant.
Previously, he was engineering director of automotive retail diagnostic tools and industrial scales at SPX Corp., an international manufacturing and industrial equipment supplier. Prior to that, he was the vice president of the engineering division at Actron Manufacturing Co. and a principal partner and senior software developer at ElectroSoft Inc. Earlier, he worked with Invacare Corp. and at ABB Elsag Bailey Co. as a software engineer.
He received his computer science degree from the Computer Science & Information Institute in 1979 and his associate degree in electro-mechanical engineering from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in 1987. He earned his B.S. in electrical system engineering from Wright State University in 1989.
There were 80 home sales in Chagrin Falls in 2008, with a median sales price of $251,000.
