He spent his first season on the practice squad. He was assigned to the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe. He also played with the Frankfurt Galaxy. He returned to New Orleans as the full-time third-string quarterback. He then played with the Carolina Panthers.

He attended and played college football at University of Louisiana in Lafayette.
