Jaime Laredo and Sharon R. Laredo bought a six-bedroom, five-bath home at 14111 Larchmere Blvd. in Shaker Heights from Paul Kantor and Virginia W. Kantor for $475,000 on June 4.

The 4,851-square-foot house was built in 1925 in Shaker Heights North. The Kantors paid $555,000 for the property in August 2003.

Jaime Laredo is a violinist who serves as conductor and music director of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. He also serves on the faculty of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Sharon Laredo is a cello soloist and member of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio. She is a recipient of the Avery Fisher Recital Award and the Piatigorsky Memorial Award and has been nomitated for the Grammy Awards. She also teaches instrumental and chamber music at the Cleveland Institute of Music. She is affiliated with Jay K. Hoffman & Associates, a public relations and marketing organization specializing in music.
