Cleveland Browns GM spends $1.68M in Gates Mills 6BD

Medium 0e028526836b8469b6bd4ce2d232fae1 George P. Kokinis and Elizabeth Kokinis bought a six-bedroom, five-bath home at 1839 Chartley Road in Gates Mills from Anna and James S. Haskell for $1.68 million on July 24.

The 6,471-square-foot house was built in 1978 in the Brown subdivision.

Mr. Kokinis is the general manager of the National Football League's Cleveland Browns.

Prior to working for the Cleveland Browns, he was Baltimore Ravens' director of pro personnel for five seasons. Before that, he was the team's Northeast area scout. He started his NFL career as an intern in the Browns' operations department in 1991. His earlier career was involved in college player scouting and free agent scouting.

He received his B.A. in psychology from Hobart College and his master's degree in sports management from the University of Richmond.

There were 29 home sales in Gates Mills in 2008, with a median sales price of $378,500.
