Philanthropy exec buys Brecksville home

Medium ce211c3ab0ffb35ba58d7b30257cd192 Carol L. Moss bought a property at Chippewa Road in Brecksville from Jennifer Klump for $640,000 on Oct. 21.

Klump paid $729,300 for the property in Oct. 2007. The house is in Brecksville East in the One Chippawa Trail subdivision.

Moss is vice chancellor of university development and alumni relations at the University of California, San Francisco and vice president at UCSF Foundation. Previously, she was chairman of institutional relations and development at Cleveland Clinic, where she was also vice chairman. She was assistant vice president for university development at The Ohio State University and served in development positions at Case Western Reserve University, the University of Pittsburgh and Slippery Rock University.

She earned her B.A. in education from Slippery Rock University and her Master's degree in health and human services from Ohio University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 98 home sales in Brecksville during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $205,000.
